Research and management of biodiversity in Western Australia, with particular emphasis on marine environments, mygale and marsupial fauna and mesic habitats of southwestern Australia.

Summary of research interests

Louisa studied a Bachelor of Marine Science at the University of Western Australia majoring in Geology, Marine Biology and Marine and Coastal Planning and Management, then completed her honours year in geology. Louise gained a Masters of Geology in 2013 through the Geological Survey of Western Australia.

Her Masters research was based on geosequestration, the sub-surface storage of carbon dioxide as a greenhouse mitigation strategy. Louisa is currently working for the Geological Survey as a geologist pursuing further research based on the findings of her Masters work.
